The Platform accepts the jewellery which has been sold by the Platform on a buyback basis. This Buyback will be done at the return pricing, set by the Platform itself.
The customer will have to raise a request for buyback on customer support. The mail Id for the same is email@example.com. The customer support executive will mandatorily request images of the product. The same image will be verified with the order profile of that product.
The product will not be accepted for buyback in case the jewellery is broken or if the product is not matching with the old order or change in colour or any other kind of deformities that the Platform finds at its discretion.
The Buyback mechanism is as follows
Plain Gold Jewellery- Net Gold Wt. * Current Gold Price as per Kt. Of the product * 97 %
Diamond Gold Jewellery- (Net Gold Wt. * Current Gold Price as per Kt. Of the product * 97 %) +(Total Diamond Ct. * Sale Invoice Price * 75%)
Studded Gold Jewellery- Net Gold Wt. * Current Gold Price as per Kt. Of the product * 97 %
CZ Gold Jewellery- Net Gold Wt * Current Gold Price as per Kt. Of the product * 82%
The Buyback is done in two ways.
Directly Shipping from Customer- Applicable on all kinds of Jewellery.
In-store Buyback- Applicable on only Plain Gold Jewellery.
Directly Shipping from Customer: The User/ customer will be sent the packaging kit to send the product via the logistics partner of the Platform. On the acceptance of the product for buyback, the Platform will set a fixed return pricing. After further quality checks and testing at the place of the jeweller, the product will complete the BuyBack.
The Package will be picked up by an assigned person from the Platform. The pick-up person/ pick-up agent from the Platform will have his/her name and identity will be shared with the User/customer prior to the pick-up of the return of the Product.
In case of the buyback, the reverse shipping charges are deducted in case of pick up being arranged by the Platform’s team.
The User has to note that the money will be refunded after the acceptance of the Product at the jeweller's end. The time for the said refund has to be considered of shipping from customer to jeweller and 24 hours at jeweller end.
In-store Buyback: The User has to note that in the case of plain gold jewellery, after raising a buyback request, the User/customer can take the product for buyback to a nearby store in his city under the guidance of the customer support executive to return the product. The User will get his Buyback Amount from that Poonji Partner Jeweller.
Under the Buyback option, the customer has the choice to take the refund directly in his account or in the store's credit. The User/customer can use his credit to purchase a new product from Partner jeweller outlets of the Platform or the User can use his credit from the buyback at the same time to buy another product.
